A premier Philadelphia caterer is seeking an experienced Catering Sales Manager to join our remarkable team. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for creating unforgettable guest experiences through meticulous attention to detail and dedication to culinary excellence. This is primarily an Off Premise Catering sales position.

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for:
1) Catering Sales: Crafting and executing events from the planning process, through event oversight and final billing.
2) Cuisine: Working closely with our chefs to understand our food and to curate menus to suit our clientele. Knowledge of current food trends is important.
3) Relationships: Establishing and maintaining a network of contacts, venues, and other businesses within the industry to leverage connections for business development opportunities.
FULL TIME POSITION: Must be available on weekends. Our work schedule is tethered to needs of the event calendar.
Our managers are expected to work a minimum of 50 hours/week. During peak season weeks it is not unusual to work 60-70 hour work weeks. Saturdays are usually our busiest days.
Salary: from $50,000.00, plus commission
Caterer Type: Full-Service Boutique Caterer. Whether it's an intimate gathering or a lavish celebration, we tailor each event to reflect the unique tastes and desires of our discerning clients, ensuring every aspect of their experience is nothing short of extraordinary.
Work Location: In person, Mount Airy neighborhood in Philadelphia, and also on site at various off premise locations.

CATERING SALES MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
Experience:
· At least 3 years of catering sales experience that demonstrates a track record of growth in both wedding and corporate/non-profit. Off Premise catering a plus.
Education:
· A bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
· Serve Safe and RAMP certifications preferred.
Leadership Skills:
· Strong leadership abilities
Customer Service:
· A passion for personalized client relations and exceptional guest experiences.
Financial Management:
· Proficiency in financial acumen and reporting: Food and Beverage sold, rental china/glass/silver, table/linens/chairs, staff, décor, etc.
Communication Skills:
· Effective communication skills to liaise with clients, guests, staff, and other stakeholders.
· Clear and concise verbal and written communication abilities.
Problem-Solving:
· Ability to quickly identify and resolve operational challenges and issues.
· Adaptability to handle unexpected situations and make informed decisions.
Organizational Skills:
· Attention to details.
· Time management skills to prioritize tasks, and to meet deadlines.
· Strong organizational abilities to manage day-to-day tasks efficiently.
Tech Savvy:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. The ability to learn new software programs.

· An upbeat, positive attitude
· Thorough understanding of and a commitment to food safety standards
· Genuine enthusiasm for the catering industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Additional:
· Valid Driver’s License and car to get to/from events is required
