The Bedford Research Foundation seeks a part-time Office Admin/SPAR Patient Coordinator/SPAR Lab Tech position.

This part-time position will work closely with a small, friendly staff of medical and research professionals to coordinate patient visits and care, schedule appointments, and organize necessary meetings and schedule for Foundation staff. They will also perform routine laboratory duties and assist in research projects and organizational tasks. This position should have excellent organizational skills, a willingness to develop and maintain systems for sensitive data retrieval, office and laboratory experience, extensive patient care experience, and the ability to work with a busy team daily to accomplish projects and tasks. They will also be responsible for billing and follow-up on patient accounts and must understand accounting practices and procedures. This position may help with fundraising, other research projects, and related office tasks.
This is a part-time position (15-20 hrs per week); hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8:15 AM-2:15 PM. Pay is hourly and based on experience ($18-$26 per hour). Applicant Requirements:
- *Phlebotomy experience a plus*
- *Nursing experience a plus*
- BS in Biology or a related field of study
- Experienced laboratory technician
- Outstanding office skills and experience
- Strong communication skills
- Macintosh Computer literacy: email, word processing, database, data entry, internet searches
- Ability to work independently
- Outstanding patient care skills
- Ability to follow instructions specifically
- Understanding of patient confidentiality
- References for the relevant job experience
