We are currently hiring for full-time Warping Plant Operators who are interested in starting IMMEDIATELY at our large location in Kernersville, NC!

- Pay starts at $21.79/hour!
- Day Shift: 6am-6pm
- Night Shift: 6pm-6am
Travel: Some travel to Cheraw, South Carolina Restricted Area may be required. Travel will be handled by the company.

✅Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Support all aspects of warping and weaving production such as but not limited to what
is described below.
2. Perform warping operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Loading creel – 5 to 20 lbs yarn packages
- b. Tie in packages
- c. Set up creel and warper for operation
- d. Thread up eye board and reed
- e. Verify quality during operation
- f. Record key process parameters at specified intervals
- g. Use the computer system to enter process specific information and generate
- labels
- h. Load and unload warp beams
3. Perform fixing operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Lead and/or assist repairs during machine break down events
- b. Troubleshoot machine related problems
4. Perform inspection operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Load and unload finished rolls.
- b. Identify defects according to the inspection standard.
- c. Log defects into the inspection computer system and generate roll maps
- d. Use the computer system to enter process specific information and generate
- labels
5. Perform warehouse operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Ability to drive a forklift (or willing to learn)
- b. Ability to operate a pallet jack
- c. Deliver raw materials to production areas
- d. Pick up finished goods and store in designated locations
- e. Use a handheld scanner to locate raw materials and finished goods
- f. Interface with computer system to find raw materials or finished goods
- g. Use the computer system to enter process specific information and generate
- labels
- h. Load trucks
6. Perform tie in operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Lease out loom after warp out
- b. Remove empty beam and replace with a full beam
- c. Operate an automatic tying machine
- d. Manually tie in ends
- e. Pull through knots and start up machine
7. Perform draw in / entering operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Drawing patterns – threading through drop wires, harnesses, and reed
- b. Follow data sheet to ensure proper characteristics of the pattern
- c. Install leases
- d. Repair warps
- e. Replace damaged reeds on weaving machine
8. Perform Lab operator duties such as but not limited to:
- a. Testing according to the test plan.
- b. Operate various lab equipment such as an Instron, yarn reel, twist tester, ruler,
- pick glass, etc.
- c. Enter data into Excel or lab database
- d. Maintain lab records
- e. Communicate testing deficiencies to a supervisor and/or other operators
9. Maintain good house keeping of the entire production floor.
10. Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/manager.

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or GED, or relevant experience.
Mathematical Skills
- Basic math: adding, subtracting, multiplication, rounding, and percentages. Must be able to read a ruler. Must pass math test.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Operators must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, including above shoulder height. Pushing/pulling/lifting loads 25 to 75 lbs. is infrequent but applicable. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Must pass a background check (violent felonies) and a drug screen.
