A growing food distribution company in the Southwest Houston area is seeking a receptionist/Office manager. We are seeking ambitious individuals with a strong work, an individual who wants to grow beyond an entry-level position. This candidate must enjoy working with a diverse group of people.
To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to communicate verbally and writing in English, as well as competency in Microsoft Office application such as word and excel.
The Receptionist Responsibilities Include:
- Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
- Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.
- Assisting colleagues with administrative tasks.
- Performing ad-hoc administrative duties
- Provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Good time management skills.
- Prior experience as a receptionist or related field.
- Consistent, professional dress, and manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to cross train with multiple departments and learn new skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to properly communicate and handle clients and employees’ requests.
