Newbury Living is seeking an experienced HUD Housing Leasing Agent to assist with leasing duties such as conducting tours, overseeing the move-in process from start to finish, performing marketing tasks for the property, and assisting the Property Manager as appropriate. If you are extremely organized and self-driven, this may be the opportunity for you.
The Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager will:
- Accept inquiries via phone, email, social media and in-person and follow up with leads.
- Accurately relay property information including but not limited to pricing, availability and amenities of the units and the building.
- Schedule and conduct tours of the property and units.
- Maintain call log for lead tracking.
- Accept housing applications while ensuring they're accurate and complete.
- Process credit, criminal background and landlord reference checks thoroughly, accurately and fairly.
- Maintain and update waiting list(s) and make calls to wait listed prospects when apartments become available.
- Understand and adhere to Fair Housing Laws.
- Assist with Property Inspections
- Assist Property Managers with other duties as appropriate.
