POSITION OVERVIEW
The Retail Manager for Morris & Co. will act as a role model for the team while demonstrating superb sales leadership skills to ensure profitability, brand recognition, team development, communication, and superior customer service, ensuring Company standards are always maintained.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

Oversee monitoring and execution of daily staff payroll goals, store targets, product knowledge, and promotional events

Maintain and uphold exceptional customer service standards

Maintain and uphold all visual standards, in-store product placement, and window displays
- Maintains relationships with cross-functional partners to support the needs of the business

Knowledgeable of brands/lifestyle

Strong suggestive selling skills, link selling and cross-selling all categories

Recruit, hire, and develop onboarding paperwork and training schedules for new Members joining the department

Develop training materials to practice and teach selling ceremony to staff focusing on building the sale, proposing luxury products, and cultivating guest relationships

Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Owns personal development; actively listens and is open to feedback, direction, and guidance

Adhere to Loss Prevention and inventory control/compliance procedures

Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Five (5) years of retail management preferred

Experience in multi-vendor retail sales management preferred

Full understanding of specialty retail, visual merchandising, and store operations

Proactive approach in ensuring product knowledge training with the team on all new vendors, product categories, and deliveries.

Ability to effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management

Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

Ability to use a calculator and calculate percentages and ratios

Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative, problem solve, work independent of direct supervision

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software and ability to operate general office equipment

Ability to maintain confidential information

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills to deal effectively with customers, other management, staff, and other outside contacts

Ability to provide leadership and direction contributing to the success of the organization through engaging, developing, and mentoring individuals and teams

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will oversee retail store Members.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

SALARY
$65000 per year - $85000 per year
