Minimum Qualifications:
1. One plus (1+) year of previous Food and Beverage experience in a fast-paced environment, outgoing personality, warm and friendly, demonstrate enthusiasm and professionalism, and effective listening skills.
2. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management in both written and verbal form.
3. Must have the ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining proper portion control, safety, and health and service standards.
4. Must have knowledge and ability to perform proper food and beverage service.
5. Must maintain accurate and proper comp and cash handling procedures, using cash bank, cash register, cash drop, slot bank and POS terminal functions in accordance with department policies.
6. Teaches his/her role to new team members, as requested by management.
7. Prior experience in this position is preferred.
8. Ability to perform American and Buffet style service.
9. Ability to pronounce entire wine list and menu items.
10. Must have full knowledge of the sequence of service.
11. Must have knowledge of health code regulations and ensure that the designated work area is maintained to the proper standards.
12. Must have working knowledge of outlet food and beverage menus including glossary of terms, proper portion control, preparation and ingredients of all menu items, daily specials and pricing.
13. Must have knowledge of property safety procedures and emergency evacuation procedures for the guests and team members.
14. Must be aware of the location of the SDS booklets.
15. Must have the ability to manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
16. Must have flexibility to work varying work schedules based upon business demands and scheduled events.
17. Must be able to obtain Gaming License in California, Health Card, and Responsible Beverage Service Certification. Must keep all current required work cards on your person during your shift.
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
2. Ability to climb, bend, reach, push, pull, stoop, grasp, walk, sit, and stand for the duration of shift.
3. Require manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
4. Normal hearing range.
5. Ability to access all areas of the facility and stand & walk for extended periods.
