- Bachelor’s degree
- Professional Educator License (preferred)
- Experience working with students (preferred)
Position Overview + Essential Job Functions

- Manage student behavior by establishing a strong classroom culture that integrates safe and equitable structures and routines to create a positive and nurturing environment.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active, differentiated.
- Use relevant tools and strategies, including technology, to meet the needs of all students.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the instructional environment and work towards common school goals.
- Observe and evaluate student performance and development through formative and summative assessments.
- Encourage parent and community involvement.

All teachers will be hired and employed by the Archdiocese of Chicago. All teachers will receive a variety of support from Big Shoulders Fund.
