Job Classification: Adjunct Faculty-Teaching
Must reside in the State of Utah to be eligible for employment consideration. Must be willing to teach the course(s) in person, on campus.

Required Degree: Master's Degree in Music Performance, Collaborative Piano, or Conducting required.
Doctoral Degree in Music Performance, Collaborative Piano, or Conducting preferred.
The required degree must be completed by the start date.
Experience:
-
2 years' experience as vocal coach and/or conductor required
-
General knowledge of French, German, Italian, and English singing diction required

General knowledge of operatic repertoire preferred
Duties/Expectations:
-
Rehearsals daily from 3:00pm - 6:00pm except Wednesdays which are 3:00pm - 5:00pm.

Evening rehearsals as needed

Coach students to help them learn assigned scenes/roles

Act as music conductor for opera rehearsals when needed

Act as Chorus Master for opera productions

Attend daily afternoon rehearsals for the term of the production as well as scheduled evening rehearsals as needed

Demonstrated ability to teach and use rehearsal time effectively

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
