Easterseals UCP is a non-profit service provider in North Carolina & Virginia. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Family Support Partner to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary High-Fidelity Wraparound team designed to provide support to the caregiver of a child/youth that has a mental illness, substance use disorder or has co-occurring diagnoses.
What You’ll Do
The Family Support Partner (FSP) provides one-on-one structured supports and strengths-based interventions that promote self-determination and self-advocacy with a focus on recovery and resiliency for the benefit of the eligible youth. Supports provided to the family are directed towards positive outcomes and to increase the overall capacity for the family to manage their own services while building healthy, positive relationships. The Family Partner meets with families, collaborates with the whole care team, and supports the family by assisting them with outside agencies and community referrals.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team, you must be willing to provide care in community and home-based settings, participate in the crisis phone support rotation, have strong communication skills and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following:
- Must be a parent or primary caregiver of a child who has received services
- Experience needed:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, OR
- An Associate's degree in Human Services field AND 2-year's of experience working with youths and adolescents, OR
- A high school diploma or GED AND a minimum of 4-year's of experience working with youths and adolescents
- A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record
- Experience with navigating child and family serving systems
