We are looking for 4 consultants in the Seattle, WA area to help our customer with some onsite Desktop Support work at their local offices (Seattle and Redmond, WA) for approximately 40 hours per week, for a 1.5-month contract duration. Monday - Friday, 9-5.
Sample of skills needed:
*Maintain and troubleshoot Windows 11 powered IT environments
*Install, maintain and upgrade software/hardware as needed.
*Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve more complex operating errors.
*Evaluate and resolve network connectivity or communications systems issues
*Help new employees set up their workstations.
*Analyze and correct both emergency and lingering problems that impact reliability, security, responsiveness, accessibility, and general functionality of desktops, notebooks, printers, and other end user peripherals.
*Help with end user software upgrades.
*Perform the responsive diagnosis and repair of workstations, laptop computers, and associated equipment.
*Manage user account permissions and group policy within Active Directory.
Qualifications:
*Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, ability to implement quick workarounds to technical problems
*Ability to support C level end users in a clear and concise manner
*Experience in a client-focused customer-oriented service and support/technical role
*Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems, as well as supporting Microsoft Office software
*Working knowledge of Active Directory
This is a 1099 consulting role for the 1.5-month contract. More work available at completion!
