Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will work with children with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to help them achieve their goals.
Duties:
- Conduct data collection and analysis to track progress and make informed decisions
- Implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients
- Assist in the development and implementation of behavior support plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Utilize behavioral strategies to teach new skills and reduce challenging behaviors
- Provide support during diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Monitor and report progress to families, caregivers, and other team members
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a behavioral health or special education setting
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children with developmental disabilities
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field (preferred)
Certification:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or willingness to obtain certification within the first 90 days of employment
