The majority of activity in this role is directed toward the generation of new sales for auto and homeowners insurance from inbound calls and live transfer leads. No Cold Calling! and no endless dialing to reach prospects! We also have a separate Service Department that handles service related requests, endorsements, payments etc. So your job is to answer calls and sell!

Base Pay: $41,600

Duties
- Convert sales from inbound calls from prospects looking for insurance.
- Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.
- Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program.
- Verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses with each customer contact and update customer information.
- Return all phone messages promptly.
- Prospecting and generating new business through leads & referral sources.
- Be outstanding at relationship building.
- Follow agency sales processes
- Work within a sales CRM software
Requirements
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
- Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills.
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently.
- A property & casualty license
- Prior sales experience.
- Career minded vision.
- Works well with other employees and is a team player with a positive attitude.
