The Marketplace E-commerce Manager is responsible for listing, managing, and selling products or services on various online marketplace platforms, such as Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Walmart or others. This role involves a range of tasks related to e-commerce and online sales.
The Marketplace E-commerce Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of the platforms, ensuring that the strategy to offer and sell products outside of our normal website is profitable. They will be responsible for existing listing management, new product onboarding, pricing, system integrations, and overall store management. In addition, they will be responsible for hiring and managing a team of competent associates to help maintain the daily workload. Candidates must be local to Greenville, SC and open to working a hybrid schedule.
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Expand our revenue potential by performing listing research to determine what listings we should participate in as a company. Work with Sales, Marketing, and Product.

Configure pricing and promotions to remain hyper-competitive with the goal of winning the buy box on all platforms.

Facilitate the Amazon FBA program.

Maintain an effective Neo-Pure Amazon Store, optimizing product listings, imagery, and content.

Create and manage product listings on the chosen marketplace, ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, and pricing that drive customer engagement.

Continuously optimize product pages to drive awareness and sales.

Track sales, revenue, and other key performance indicators to assess the success of the marketplace store.

Stay informed about industry and marketplace trends, as well as competitor strategies.

Stay up to date with Amazon policies and regulations, ensuring compliance in all activities.

Effectively Communicate with the procurement team for new product onboarding, cost updates, as well as inventory status on items.

Manage a team of associates to make sure all tasks and projects are done in a timely manner.

Participate in merchandising meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.

Proficient in software systems including (but not limited): Excel, Google Sheets, Shopify, Outlook, Slack, Asana, Snowflake.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Works in an office setting whether hybrid or in the office. The ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, management, and other co-workers is crucial. Regular use of the telephone and e-mail for communication is essential. Sitting for extended periods is common. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
Activities require the ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, occasionally move about inside the office to access files or office equipment, operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, handheld devices, copy machine, and computer printer, and operate and monitor various equipment. Must be able to position self to maintain equipment, including under tables and desks.
No heavy lifting is expected; exertion of up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, phones, calculators, copiers, and fax machines.
