Reporting to the Director of Digital Marketing, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimization of digital assets in marketing efforts to increase and enhance engagement with association audiences using effective marketing strategies.
Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Digital Marketing Management: Build and deploy email and digital marketing campaigns using tools like Higher Logic/Optimizely. Handle the complete digital marketing process, from proof creation to distribution/deployment. Work with marketing directors, , designers, and platform representatives to optimize customer journeys, email content, and graphics. Maintain and build out email templates and marketing dashboards for use across various product lines.
2. Campaign Reporting and Analysis: Track campaigns, utilize A/B testing, segmentation, and report key performance indicators to help drive business decisions. Analyze digital performance metrics including email, social media, and website metrics. Present findings and actionable insights to department through detailed reports and presentations.
3. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work across departments to acquire send/suppression lists for each message. Assist in the execution, monitoring, and reporting of marketing campaigns. Work with the Director of Digital Marketing to support the association's online presence.
4. User Journey and Conversion Optimization: Track the user journey from prospect acquisition to purchase using DXP tools and suggest changes to improve yield. Monitor the results of digital marketing efforts, and report successes or shortcomings to the director of Digital Marketing.
5. Digital Marketing Strategy: Coordinate with the Director of Digital Marketing to assess and improve the overall digital marketing strategy. Perform other duties as assigned related to improving and expanding the association's digital presence.
Qualified candidates will be:
- Data-driven, analytical, creative, and detail-oriented, with superior written and verbal communication abilities.
- Highly adaptable to a constantly changing marketing world and always looking for opportunities to grow, evolve, and drive results.
- Familiar with online marketing strategies and marketing channels.
Qualified candidates will have:
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, or through internships and/or relevant college coursework.
- Experience with email marketing platforms.
- Experience with website analytics using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics 4.
- Experience in search engine marketing (SEM) and SEO preferred.
- Experience working with popular keyword tools (e.g., Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Association Management Systems, and Content Management Systems.
- Effective organization, planning, and reporting skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- Capacity to communicate with tact and professionalism.
- The ability to develop a path toward problem solving and manage the process to completion.
- Strong multi-tasking skills with a comfort in maintaining multiple, often conflicting, priorities.
- The ability to work autonomously with initiative.
