About the Role
As a Construction Litigation Associate, you will work closely with our senior attorneys to manage a variety of construction and commercial litigation cases. You'll also handle pre-litigation construction lien and payment bond claims, providing crucial support to our clients.
What You'll Do
- Client Consultation: Review client issues, analyze legal options, and recommend the best course of action.
- Legal Research and Proceedings**: Conduct thorough legal research, prepare for and attend hearings, and provide legal counsel.
- Document Preparation: Draft contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements.
- File Management: Organize and maintain case files to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and staff to resolve cases efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Communication and Problem-Solving: Exceptional skills to work with all levels of staff and clients.
- Credentials: Member in good standing with the ABA and a J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and contribute to client growth.
- Licensed and Experienced: Successful completion of the bar exam and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

- Cell Phone: If you wish, Firm will add your phone plan to the Firms plan. We pick up the costs for your minutes/data. The employee is responsible for his/her own equipment.
Firm pays:
- Annual State Bar Dues
- Annual State Occupation Tax
- Continuing Legal Education (CLE): Firm will contribute up to $1,200 per year for lawyers' CLE reimbursement.
