SUMMARY
The Customer Service Representative is a detailed oriented, self-starter, with exceptional Customer Service and interpersonal skills and will provide support to the Sales and Operations Teams.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Culture advocate who actively supports, fosters, promotes and demonstrates Stairtek’s core values: Whatever it Takes, High Standards, Open to Change and Think Like a Customer.
- Accurately following internal and external communication procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Responsible for office supply management and inventory.
- Administrative printing tasks required by customers.
- Invoicing through Customer Portals.
- Professional and timely communication with customers via phone and e-mail as needed.
- Providing complete and correct information for all Customer inquiries.
- Reports required by customers that are needed weekly/monthly.
- File carrier claims.
- Sample Management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Associates Degree in Business Administration, Communication, or Marketing is preferred.
- Must have 2+ years of customer service experience.
- Minimum of 1+ year in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must have the ability to manage customer accounts and build positive relationships, both internally and externally.
- Must have strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations while remaining professional and polite.
- Must be willing to learn and grow within the organization.
- Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Must have the ability to successfully interact with coworkers to exchange information about tasks and coordination of work.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to move throughout all areas of the plant(s) as required to perform duties.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
