HOLOCAUST EDUCATION COORDINATOR PART TIME
Job Summary:
Holocaust Educator is responsible for achieving the critical community outcomes for Holocaust Education
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree
Experience Required:
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience as program coordinator or relevant position
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Detail-oriented and efficient
Primary Job Functions:
- Moderator of Community Conversations. Assist with design, development and implementation.
- Holocaust Speakers Bureau: attend monthly meetings of Gen 2 and Gen 3 Speakers Bureau. Facilitate speaking sessions at schools, community sites and at JFCS. Work with speakers on their stories.
- Frisch Family Holocaust Memorial Gallery: assist with tours and programming as needed.
- Interact with greater Jacksonville agencies to promote Holocaust Education and partner in agency events.
- Able to work collaboratively with a team, as well as effective independently.
- Must be proficient and experienced in Microsoft Office Programs
- Complete other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Jewish community and culture.
- Knowledge of the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and best practices on combating hate
- Knowledge or familiarity with non-profits.
