The Office of Psychiatry and Counseling Services: Dr. Matthew A. Berger, MD, PC is expanding therapy services, and seeking compassionate licensed clinicians to join our therapy department. Clinicians (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD or similar credentials) will be responsible for providing outpatient mental health services (therapy) to clients, with options to meet in person or through our telehealth platform. Services may include individual therapy, couples counseling, family counseling or group counseling depending on clinical backgrounds and comfortability. Clinicians will be responsible for documentation, maintaining accurate clinical records of their services, and will have the opportunity to attend monthly clinical consultation meetings, as well as individual supervision.
A successful candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrate Care, Concern and Compassion towards others; including patients, their families and coworkers. Candidates should be flexible, adaptable and able to work as a team member. Accurate record keeping is essential and familiarity with electronic medical record software, especially Medent EMR is a plus. Candidate must currently be licensed in Pennsylvania.
Requirements:
- Counselors must be licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board to provide counseling (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD or similar credentials)
- Specialties may include individuals, couples therapy, family counseling, and group counseling
- Requires at least 2 years of clinical experience
- Position may include combination of onsite and remote services.
- Access to dependable high-speed internet for at remote employees
