We are currently seeking lead teachers, enrichment teachers, and teacher assistants to join our team for Sylvan Summer Camp.
This is an on-site position for Summer 2024. Sylvan Summer Camp begins July 1st and runs until August 9th or extended till August 23rd. Position also lead to continue job opportunity in the fall.

This is a seasonal role with potential to lead to long term opportunities such as tutoring/after school teaching positions with the Company.
Sylvan Summer Camp will serve Kindergarteners all the way up to 6th graders. This summer we will focus on strengthening students' Math, Reading, and Writing skills, while teaching critical thinking skills through enrichment activities such as Coding, Creative Art, and Music! Our camp will run Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm. The goal of Sylvan Summer Camp is to make sure students are academically stimulated and ready for the new school year.
Job Requirements/Qualifications for Lead Teachers:
-Experience working with students from Kindergarten-5th grade.
-Knowledgeable of Common Core NY State Standards for Math and ELA.
- Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
-Prior teaching experience working with students at different academic levels.
-Ability to implement and execute curriculum in an engaging and meaningful way for students.
-Must possess Bachelors or Master’s Degree
-Teaching: At least 1 years of experience.
Job Requirements/Qualifications for Enrichment Teachers:
-Enrichment teachers for Art, Stem, Chinese, Chess, Music, Sports, Yoga, etc.
-Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
-Ability to teach enrichment activities in a structured and worthwhile way.
Job Requirements/Qualifications for Teacher Assistants:
-Must possess a High School Diploma or GED.
-At least 1 year of experience working with students from Kindergarten-5th grade.
-Ability to collaborate and support lead teachers regarding curriculum, lessons, and documenting progress of students.
-Working with students individually and in small group instruction.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
