As a Bilingual Korean Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in managing incoming shipments to the West Coast and coordinating cargo releases for customers across the United States. Your key responsibilities will include:
Shipment Management: Oversee and coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
Cargo Coordination: Work closely with freight forwarders, customs brokers, warehouses, and truckers to facilitate smooth cargo releases and deliveries.
Customer Communication: Provide exceptional support to customers, addressing their inquiries and resolving issues, especially when unexpected situations arise. Your ability to communicate effectively and professionally is essential.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records and documentation using MS Word and Excel, ensuring all customer interactions and cargo transactions are properly logged.
Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot potential issues in the cargo release process, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to foster a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Korean and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the logistics or supply chain industry.
Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word and Excel for documentation and communication purposes.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and solution-oriented, with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including freight forwarders, customs brokers, and warehouse personnel.
Detail-Oriented: Attention to detail and accuracy in managing shipment records and customer information.
