Stirling Behavioral Health Institute has immediate openings for a licensed psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, MFT associate, or associate social worker
in the Van Nuys area.
We are in special need of those who are bilingual Spanish. Experience with transitional age youth populations is desired.
Stirling is a small, school-based agency contracted with the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health (DMH) to provide
outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents, teens, and their adult caregivers in the central and west areas of the San Fernando Valley.
Services are provided in schools, via telehealth, and in Stirling's Van Nuys office. Most of our clients come from LAUSD schools we contract with to provide outpatient mental health services.
Clinicians provide intake assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical interventions, collaterals, discharges, case management (when needed), crisis management, and providing individual and family therapy. (
No Wrap or FSP service!)
While no experience is required (we will train), preferred applicants will have experience with DMH policies, procedures, and standards. Applicants
certified or are in the process of becoming certified in one or more of the following Evidence Based Practices are also desired: CPP, MAP, Trauma Focused CBT, Individual CBT, and Seeking Safety.
Applicant should live within a reasonable commute time to Van Nuys, CA.
