A growing team
We’ve been recognized by the Denver Nuggets, Boston Red Sox, and more as a leading provider of youth development programming. 36,000 kids in 2022 alone were impacted by HERO’s unique approach to development through non-competitive sports. Since 2014, HERO Kids Sports has been inspiring the HERO within kids ages 2-12 in the greater Denver markets. In 2023, we are continuing to expand rapidly and are looking for inspiring individuals to join our growing team.
Looking for awesome teammates
Even though it is important for us to grow our coaches roster to keep up with the growing demand for HERO, it’s even more important to make sure we’re growing with the right people.
Just as we teach the kids we coach how to be great leaders and teammates, our coaches are committed to being the best teammates and leaders they can be. We count on one another to do what we say we’re going to do, we choose to communicate proactively, we choose to see the glass half full, we choose to have a growth mindset and learn from feedback, and we choose to support one another. Every new person we add to the HERO team we are expecting to contribute to making HERO a more inspiring environment for us all: as a coworker, as a coach to the kids, and as a representative of HERO to parents and program partners.
What it’s like to be on the team
Being on team HERO means knowing that you are part of something bigger than yourself. Coaches will go through our HERO Training Program learning our 11-sport HERO curriculum. All coaches teach each of our 11 sports following this curriculum. Team members join weekly team connection & advisor meetings to get to know other HERO coaches on the team as well as receive leadership and professional development coaching to help you tap into your full potential and expand your strengths. In short - being a part of Team HERO means joining a community in which we are all learning how to inspire your own HERO inside while also inspiring the HERO within the kids we coach.
