Operations Management:
- · Oversee the day-to-day operations of asphalt, concrete, and crack/sealcoat crews ensuring quality and production meet organizational and customer requirements.
- · Optimize crew performance through continuous process improvements.
- · Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- · Implement and maintain efficient workflows and processes to optimize production and minimize costs.
- · Coordinate with equipment manager on equipment preventive maintenance and repairs.
- · Evaluate and make recommendations for equipment purchases or upgrades to ownership.
Personnel Management:
- · Lead, manage, and develop field personnel, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- · Conduct performance reviews with HR Team, provide feedback, and identify training and development opportunities.
- · Manage staffing needs in conjunction with our hiring team, including hiring, onboarding, and scheduling.
Sales and Customer Relations:
- · Work closely with the sales team to understand customer needs, anticipate future demand, and ensure product quality and consistency.
- · Foster strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- · Address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and effective manner.
Safety and Compliance:
- · Establish and enforce safety protocols, ensuring that all operations comply with industry safety standards.
- · Conduct regular safety training for all field personnel.
- · Stay updated with the latest industry regulations and ensure field personnel adherence.
Working Conditions:
- · This position may require extended hours, including evenings and weekends, particularly during peak production seasons.
- · Frequent visits to the field will be required, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noises, and potential hazards of a construction environment.
Requirements:
- · Minimum of 5 years of experience in asphalt operations.
- · Proven leadership and team management experience.
- · Strong knowledge of asphalt paving, equipment, and safety protocols.
- · Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations related to asphalt production.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
