JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Line Cook is to clean and prepare the work area, clean the cooking surfaces and utensils, and make sure that the supply inventory is well stocked. Also, to quality controls on all freshly made food produced in the kitchen and food made for service. Cooks are expected to maintain the cleanliness at his or her workstation at all times and implement health and food safety standards to maintain a 100% customer satisfaction. They will also need to verify that the prepared orders meet the company’s standard for food quality and quantity.
REQUIRMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Intermediate knife and cooking technique skills; Prepare food & assist with kitchen functions
- Maintain a flexible schedule based on business needs, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Perform daily department tasks, including stock work, re-merchandising and maintain good housekeeping standards
- Ability to handle high volume, fast paced environment

Job Duties:
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift
- Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
