Our Company is looking for a Customer Service Representative who can assist customers and help maintain a high customer retention level. The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for taking incoming calls from our customer base processing orders and addressing customer product issues and concerns with the company. The successful candidate will complete Customer Service task that ensure customers have the information and assistance they need all while maintaining the company’s positive reputation.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process orders via telephone faxes, or emails
- Assist with complaints, errors, account questions, billing, cancelations, and other queries
- Assist with payment information and other pertinent information such as updates to customer accounts.
- Provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patience and support.
- Collaborate with other team members to improve overall Customer Service
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external departments
- Handle all issues in accordance with best practices
- Manage open order and open back order report
- Continually gain product knowledge so you are able upsell and suggest needed products.
- Assist in special projects
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software and phone systems
- 1-2 years previous experience preferred.
