Job Overview:
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with a keen eye for detail and a friendly demeanor. We're a uniform retailer focused on selling quality medical scrubs, lab coats, first responder uniforms, chefwear, shoes, and accessories.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage customers, share product knowledge, and suggest items to best meet the needs of each customer
- Respond to customer questions
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Assist in restocking merchandise on the sales floor
- Promote current sales, promotions, and discounts to customers
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred, but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Understanding of phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries in person and over the phone
- Must be at least 18 years of age
