Boutique dermatology practice located on the Philadelphia Main Line, seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
The Front Desk Receptionist is the positive and helpful face of the practice, tasked with handling a variety of daily responsibilities with ease and efficiency. The Receptionist will be expected to answer inquiries, provide information to patients and visitors, and maintain an organized front desk area. The right candidate is an individual who is comfortable working in a busy, high-paced environment; excels at multitasking and on-the-go critical thinking; and is highly internally motivated. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
The Front Desk Receptionist provides general office support for a a variety of clerical activities and related tasks including, but not limited to:
- Greet, screen, schedule, and/or direct patients to exam rooms;
- Answer telephone(s), check voicemails, conduct follow-up calls, etc.;
- Maintain the electronic daily appointment schedule;
- Aid in the production, retention and/or filing of dictations and other treatment records;
- Prepare and process correspondence and emails;
- Answer product inquiries;
- Obtain, verify, and update patient information;
- Provide support services to patients and medical staff as requested;
- Assist with the preparation of marketing and support materials and notes;
- Attend all required clinical and/or administrative meetings;
- Assist in the care and maintenance of office and clinical equipment;
- Collect and document patient payment(s) for services and/or products; and,
- Support, and contribute to, the positive atmosphere of the Practice.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
- Approximately 20-30 hours per week.
- Possibility for growth for the right candidate.
- The beginning and ending time for each day may vary slightly day-to-day.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma.
- Two years of administrative and/or receptionist experience
- Previous experience with fast paced, high volume, face-to-face customer service.
*PREFERRED* EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree; or currently pursuing a postsecondary degree.
- Previous experience in the medical and/or aesthetics field(s).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and G Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Drive)
