JOB SUMMARY
Perform skilled mechanical maintenance in the inspection, repair, installation and alteration of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment.

Provide constant communication with dispatch coordinators to update the status and timeline of routed calls.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, being available to be scheduled for 24/7 time slots.
Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
Ability to meet and/or exceed production goals.
Ensure new/returning customers’ concerns are addressed and handled appropriately, timely, accurately and professionally.
Possess the physical and mental abilities to conduct customer service within the customer’s residence.
Ability to operate a company truck and follow all state and federal laws.
Ability to maintain the cleanliness and routine maintenance of the vehicle.
Adhere to all safety responsibilities & requirements as trained.
Ability to conduct regular preventative maintenance inspections of HVAC units and installations. Repair or replace defective parts in equipment and their controls, including but not limited to; thermostats automatic switches, fan controls log switches, damper motors, louvers, relays, filters, controls, belts, compressors, heat exchangers, high limit controls, pressure controls, safety valves, and automatic gas valves.
Ability to operate a variety of hand and power tools, welder torch, vacuum pump, and all other test equipment utilized in the trade.
Ability to consistently interact as a productive member of the team, as well as all Company personnel, in a positive and respectful manner at all times.
Ability to perform skilled electrical maintenance work in the repair, installation and alteration of HVAC equipment, components, timers, motors and any other wiring system as needed.
Ability to complete and submit paperwork and customer payments within required time frame accurately and correctly, documenting customer information to include but not limited to; name, address, phone number, equipment. Information, diagnostic and all recommend repairs.
Effectively communicate all parts orders and requisitions to the appropriate dept. You must communicate to your Team Leader / Supervisor if you will be late or absent for any reason. If your Team Leader/Supervisor is not accessible, you must make every effort to contact another TL or the Officer/s. You must also call our sick/late line at (972) 512-0029, and leave a message stating your tardy or absence. This notification, prior to your scheduled work shift is necessary, because arrangements must be made to cover your position during your absence. If you take a company vehicle home from work, you must make arrangements for the vehicle to be accessible to the company during your absence so it can continue to be used in production. If the absence is due to illness or injury occurring outside the workplace and lasts for three days or more, a doctor’s excuse will be required upon returning to work. Any employee who fails to report to work without notice prior to shift starting will be considered to have voluntarily terminated employment.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND CLEARANCE
High school Diploma or equivalent
Valid Texas Drivers’ License
Acceptable Driving Record to be covered under Company Vehicle Insurance Policy
Ability to be meet the insurance requirements of the Company’s Liability Insurance in order to enter homes of customers, drive company vehicles and conduct service for the Company.

Work Environment: Work is performed while standing, sitting, climbing, or walking and requires the ability to routinely lift objects up to 75lbs. Activities involving being around moving parts and equipment, exposure to changes in temperature and humidity as well as dust, fumes, electricity, gases and moderate noise.
