Position Summary
Accountable for the successful management, maintenance, and improvement of field service stocking locations and how they are utilized. Accountability includes (not limited to) ensuring materials and parts are available and readily accessible to support NORAM Field Service needs as well as applicable processes and systemic workflows are in place and enhanced as needed further ensuring master records align when comparing the ERP to the Field Service Solution and actual on-hand quantities by stocking location. Partner in a collaborative manner with Supply Chain, Procurement, Parts Value Stream, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.
Duties:

Reconciliation of key stocking location information such as: active/inactive, change in address, assigned resources allowing consumption, replenishment, and RMA.

Ensures accurate issue in and issue out of all part receipt and consumption transactions.

Accountable for yearly inventory accuracy variances.

Cycle Count: Ensure daily cycle counting is occurring and accuracy levels are maintained and reported.

Design, document, and implement standardized inventory procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in inventory management processes.

Continuously review and update procedures to adapt to changing business needs and industry best practices.

Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Enforce compliance with inventory procedures through regular training sessions, performance evaluations, and corrective actions when necessary.

Work closely across departments on inventory-related activities and align inventory management strategies with organizational goals.

Generate regular reports on inventory performance, including key metrics such as turnover rate, carrying costs, and stockout rates, to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Proactive assessment of stocking location inventory needs by field service market.

Maintain Purchase Order data integrity.

Limit excess and obsolete material.

Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees.

Work closely with suppliers, production planning specialists, and quality personnel to insure timely delivery of quality parts and services.

Ensure material is available in required quantity at required time.

Assist in the resolution of all defective part issues in a timely manner.

Adhere to all WMS policies and procedures.

Complete projects as assigned.

Provide leadership and direction to personnel in the proper execution of the inventory programs.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, inventory control or a related field.

A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPIM, CSCP) may be preferred.
Experience:
-
5+ years planning experience
-
5+ years purchasing experience
-
MRP environment preferred
-
Oracle experience preferred
