We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and providing exceptional customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with customer needs
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve drinks
- Assess customers' needs and preferences to make recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Monitor inventory and restock bar supplies as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments and calculating change
- Experience in the food industry, catering, or restaurant setting
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar software is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a hospitable demeanor
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
