Dura-Line is growing fast, and we are currently hiring a talented and knowledge-driven R&D Scientist at our Clinton, TN lab. We are in search of someone that has a willingness to learn and is capable of handling technical ambiguity and is resilient to change in directions. They should possess excellent analytical & problem-solving skills and develop their physicist's perspective on making measurements and interpreting experimental electronic transmission data.
In this exciting ONSITE role, knowledge is power! Learning is key! We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, dependable, and open-minded to new technology. Someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics, and who has a strong understanding of physics and its interaction with electric/electronics or magnetic principles and applications. To hit the ground running, you will need 2-5 years of product research & development hands-on experience in a laboratory and a manufacturing/production environment with the capability of analyzing readings and data from spectrum analyzers, vector analyzing, working with signal generators, RF amplifiers, and basic electrical equipment in physics test environments.

In addition, this includes identifying innovative product solutions, maintaining the security of laboratories, laboratory equipment, supplies, materials, expenditure records, and budget updates. Computer skills are valuable and experience using programs similar to 3D Design, analytical software, Python, MATLAB, and Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint would be highly beneficial along with learning & implementing the agile methodology in the development of new products.
They must be personable and utilize their good communication skills and ability to transfer knowledge so that they can lead sprints for individual contributions, and management of team members along with managing agile processes in a fast pace setting with a base for action during new product development.
