What You Will Do:
Attain Partners is searching for a Workday Finance Project Manager to join our team and provide top level business services for our Higher Education clients. You will be a key player in delivering Workday Finance solutions for a public land-grant research university replacing its legacy PeopleSoft systems for finance and human resources. In your role Finance Project Manager, you will collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) led by Attain Partners to successfully partner with the university and their selected system integrator to implement Workday for finance and human resources. Job Responsibilities:

Operate as the client Financial Project Manager for a Workday ERP implementation project.

Lead a cross-organizational Workday finance implementation team of client, Attain Partners, and system integrator resources.
- Program and project timeline development and synchronization. This includes developing and managing the Finance implementation timeline, including connected projects into a holistic view that can be effectively maintained.

Documentation, escalation, and resolution of decisions, risks, and issues related to the implementation of Workday finance.

Provide guidance to the client on design solutions for Workday finance and best practices, with particular focus on Grants Management, security, and reporting.

Demonstrated ability to manage project scope and client expectations.

Demonstrated follow-through on assignments and issue resolution.

Engage with all project stakeholders to build teamwork and develop trust and confidence.

Produce quality deliverables that need little refinement or oversight.
-
Possess clear and effective communication skills.
-
Co-lead all tasks from planning, through to design, test, and delivery of business and technical solutions for Workday finance.
Required Experience:
-
3+ years of Workday Financials consulting experience, most recently in a Senior Consultant, Workstream Lead, or Workstream Project Manager role.

5+ years of functional professional experience in Finance ERP systems.

Proven skills to implement Grants Management in Workday finance.

Senior Consultant skills: Self-motivated, customer-focused professional.

Strong analytic, problem solving, and decision-making skills.

Innovative and a self-starter that takes initiative and meets critical deadlines.

Exercises independent judgment and discretion in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
Preferred Experience:

Experience implementing Workday or other Finance ERP systems with higher-education institutions.

Workday certification.

Certification or demonstrated skillsets in project management and organizational change management.
- Ability to handle ambiguity, embrace change, and effectively manage a multitude of priorities (both long and short term).
