The Enrollment Benefits Counselor (Group Voluntary Benefits) is responsible for assisting the company in the enrollment of over 30,000 employees in their guaranteed issue, payroll-deducted, group voluntary benefit plans.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients
- Research and recommend appropriate benefits products from our system
- Negotiate contracts and close sales
- Process benefits applications and renewals
- Provide customer service and support
- The Licensed Benefits Agent will work closely with upper management and his staff to support Chicago Public Schools.
- Non-licensed agents will have 45 days (about 1 and a half months) to pass the exam for a $1,000 bonus and the ability to work after training.

Work Environment:
The position is Field-only (Face-to-face) and will require the hired applicant to visit the clients’ office(s) and/or schools.
