We are seeking a part-time Legal Secretary/Assistant in our Hartford office to provide support to our busy practice groups. Candidate will be responsible for administrative and legal secretarial duties including drafting, revising, and proofreading correspondence and other legal documents, creating and maintaining client files, calendaring transaction deadlines, providing backup coverage for other secretaries and a variety of other duties assigned, including general office duties.
Candidate must be organized, a quick learner, able to work independently, detail-oriented, responsive, have excellent oral and written communication skills, can prioritize tasks and meet deadlines, be comfortable multi-tasking and working with a team of different attorneys and always have a positive “will-do” work ethic.
Current legal secretarial support experience preferred; knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Outlook and Excel required.
