Medical Records Coordinator for Norwood Healthcare

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Medical Records Coordinator is responsible for Medical Records and Credentialing, filling requisitions from departments for routine supplies and equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Record information such as physician orders and instructions, dietary requirements, therapy notes, and medication information on resident’s charts, medical records and computerized medical record system.
- Maintain Inventory control
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Computer Proficiency
- Punctual with project deadlines
- Practical implementation of organizational skills
- Detail oriented.
- Knowledge of Medical terminology is a plus.
- Maintenance of Medical Records.
- Filing and storing old medical records
