Small but growing plaintiff employment law firm is seeking an experienced employment law legal assistant with at least 1 year of experience. Spanish speaking is a big plus! We're a relaxed, but efficient firm that believes in a friendly supportive environment but also aggressive representation. Should either drink boba or coffee and have knowledge about Breaking Bad, Suits, The Walking Dead, Impactical Jokers, All American, Bad Bunny, Taylor Swift and Blackpink.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Screen and perform intake of clients
- Calendar court dates, appearances and litigation tasks
- Speak with potential clients to identify various legal issues
- Work with potential clients to explain the legal process, our process and retain them.
- Assist with propounding and responding to discovery, including but not limited to: Request for Production, Interrogatories, and Request for Admissions.
- Drafting various documents with the aid of templates and guidance from attorneys
- Analyzing personnel records requests and wage statement for violations
Required Experience:
- Must have at least 1 years of experience in employment law (Wage and Hour/FEHA Claims)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with legal terminology and principles
- The ability to analyze legal documents for accuracy
- Strong organizational skills; must be detail and deadline oriented
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Ability to follow up on pending issues
- Compensation depends on experience. Additional compensation in the form of performance bonuses.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
