Our Technical Support Team is actively looking for a long-term, on-site Full-Time Medical Device Support Technician.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
About Our Company:
We are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business headquartered in Dover, New Hampshire, with over 30 years of experience specializing in the design, development, manufacture, and sales of diagnostic and rehabilitative medical devices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (THIS IS A HANDS-ON POSITION)
Technical
- Troubleshoot and repair medical products returned from the field
- Perform test and calibration for new product, including utilization of software programmer
- Troubleshoot and perform production repairs
- Assist Engineering in product development and modification
- Assist in development of test/inspection procedures
- Collect and analyze quality data
Customer Service and People Skills
- Field incoming phone calls from clinicians and medical staff; assist them in troubleshooting hardware/software problems over the phone
- Provide training to product-users over the phone.
- Using a calm and helpful demeanor, assist in answering office phone calls and taking orders
- Collaborate with team members to ensure customer needs are being met
- Willingness to communicate feedback and ideas to management
- Must be adaptable in working with a variety of team member personalities
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent computer and multi-tasking skills along with remote user interface experience
- Must have outstanding communication skills (verbal and written)
- Must like talking on the phone!
- Must be positive, dependable, and a team player
- Experience with electro-mechanical assembly and troubleshooting preferred
- Possess a willingness to grow with the company and add to your skills
- Prior leadership experience also helpful

Other Helpful Qualifications:
- Veteran of the U.S. Military Services
- Military electronics training and experience
- Experience working with Medical Devices, Quality Systems (FDA, ISO, etc.)
- Experience working in a high energy, fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Production/Inventory Control
- Experience working in a small business
- Mechanical aptitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand, Walk, Push, Pull, Reach Overhead, Bend to Floor
- Sit for Extended Periods of Time
- May Occasionally Need to Lift Up to 50 Lbs.
- Normal Visual Requirements for Reading Written Instructions and Computer Screens
- Normal Hearing Requirements for Verbal Communications
- Occasional Exposure to Loud Noise
