This position performs the duties and responsibilities of FAA Assistant Chief Flight Instructor as required by FAA Regulations Part 141; assists Chief Flight Instructor in administration of Flight Education; mentors Flight Instructors; works with Students and Pilot Members when retraining is needed or warranted; helps onboard new Students and Pilot Members with respect to Company Policies and Procedures, expectations, and airport specific operational items; ensures compliance with flight safety programs; provides flight and classroom instruction; conducts stage checks, progress checks, and End of Course checks; assists with Flight Instructor Initial and Annual Standardization checks; monitors instruction quality, student progress/completion and provides feedback/reports to the Chief Flight Instructor.
Minimum Requirements:
· Meets 141.36 Assistant Chief Flight Instructor minimums per FAA Regulations
· Required: CFI and CFII
· Required: First, Second, or Third Class Medical Certificate
· Preferred: MEI
Job Duties:
· Ensure the accuracy of course completion paperwork to be submitted to the FAA.
· Ensure all assigned personnel conduct training in a professional, safe and efficient manner.
· Ensure that student progress in flight courses meets flight department minimum standards.
· Communicate weekly training goals and account for the progress toward these goals on a weekly basis.
· Conduct training of assigned students.
· Administer stage checks and end of course checks as assigned.
· Develop and maintain competence in current aviation and educational technologies
· Accomplish special projects as assigned.

Pay and Benefits:
· Full-Time Salaried Position - Pay commensurate with experience
