SUMMARY
Zapp Precision Wire is a long-established global supplier of metallic materials for medical and dental applications. Through the investment in factories and personnel, we are continuing to grow our medical materials segment. The position of Medical Wire Market Development and Sales is available for the qualified candidate.
The goal of this position is to increase Zapp Precision Wire's presence and success in the North American medical wire market through the promotion of our extensive medical materials portfolio to new and existing customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·Develop new accounts by initiating and closing sales processes in alignment with the company's offerings, capabilities, and marketing strategies. This includes identification of market potential by qualifying accounts, contacting, and engaging decision-makers, building rapport, presenting proposals, addressing objections, creating solutions, and concluding agreements.
· Expand sales at existing accounts by devising and managing individual account strategies. Examples include improving and presenting current and new products, programs, and services as well as working with customers and prospects to develop new applications.
· Contribute to Zapp's total market strategy to meet market needs. Identify, address, and monitor competitive products, market sources, and reactions from the Zapp customer base.
·Utilize internal support teams to maximize Zapp's value to the customer through the coordination of services and the assurance of customer satisfaction. Available resources requiring regular communication include managers, the inside sales team, and technical/logistical colleagues.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·College degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
·Outside Sales experience of five or more years (B2B), preferably with specialty stainless steel products.
·Preferred area of focus: metals for medical or surgical applications.
·Qualified candidates have an interest in manufacturing, possess technical aptitude, and are detail oriented.
·Ability to work in alignment with established Zapp’s defined strategies and targets.
·Competence with Microsoft Office Suite of software. SAP experience is a plus.
· Work location: Remote with travel; needed to fully perform the market development / sales role. Up to 30% travel within the United States, Canada and Mexico can be expected some months. Must have a valid driver’s license.
·Intercultural understanding and acceptance of diversity are valued within Zapp.
·Fluency in Spanish, German and / or other languages is a plus.

Pay: $125,000.00 per year
