LED Sign Technician and Technical Support
In this position, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide service and customer support during technical support calls or dispatches for LED digital sign troubleshooting or installation
- Answer customer support calls in a responsive manner
- Work with production manager to schedule installations or field service
- Manage all on site LED installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks by working with customers and general contractors for new installation, refurbishment, and sign removal.
- Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions for digital signs (LED, software, or electrical)
- Produce timely and detailed service reports
- Document processes for sign removal, installation, troubleshooting, safety, recordkeeping, and customer service.
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Build positive relationships with customers, production team, scheduling department, and sales team.
Requirements
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service audio visual AV technical equipment such as LED panels and modules, especially electrical equipment.
- Windows operating system software skills
- Strong English speaking skills because your work will be primarily over the phone.
- Driver's license
- Soldering skills
