We are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to provide excellent assistance to our customers by analyzing and identifying concerns and promoting the best possible solutions.
This is not a call center opportunity!
Monday to Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Hybrid role with work from home flexibility
Responsibilities
-
Process incoming customer orders and inquiries in a fast-paced environment using technology (EDI, chat, phone, e-mail, etc.)

Incumbent will spend approximately 2 to 3 hours per day interacting with customers by telephone.

Provide informed answers to questions about products, pricing, and availability.

Respond to shipping inquiries and answer order status questions.

Participate on team calls and meetings in the office and via web camera.

Ability to work overtime as requested.

Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred; three years related experience in an industrial (manufacturing, production, or distribution) work environment and/or equivalent education, training, and experience.

Good verbal and written communications skills in English.

Ability to think critically and problem solve.

Ability to work independently from a home office environment that is free from distraction.

High-speed reliable internet access.

Team player with collaboration skills willing to assist in other areas as needed.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.

Excellent attention to detail and quality.

Reliable attendance is necessary.
