Sr. Project Coordinator
About the Role:
Join the Exela Technologies Managed Care Professionals Team as a leader for the Revenue Cycle Reimbursement Specialist. This position works remotely from a home office, but you must live in greater St. Louis, MO area.T
The Sr. Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the healthcare Revenue Integrity Program. This role involves supervising the appeals process, ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement, and maintaining effective communication with healthcare clients and payers. The Sr. Project Coordinator is responsible for leading daily operations and guiding the team towards achieving revenue integrity goals.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Appeals Review: Review appeals generated by follow-up callers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Daily Operations: Perform day-to-day operations within the healthcare Revenue Integrity Program.
- Reimbursement Processing: Contact respective payers to process additional reimbursements for underpayments.
- Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with appointed contacts at healthcare clients to address and resolve reimbursement issues.
- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree in accounting, finance, hospital administration, nursing, or a related field is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare profession or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Leadership experience is preferred.
- Skills: Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive in resolving issues, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, and adept at fostering client relationships.
Pay Disclosure:
The pay range for this position starts at $41,000.00 Annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
