Description: Eagle Power Turf & Tractor is currently seeking a Parts Counter Associate for our Doylestown, PA location. We serve a diverse customer base, including commercial lawn care, snow removal, farming, tree care, general contractors, and residential clients throughout Bucks and Montgomery counties. As an integral part of our team, the Parts Specialist will be responsible for supporting walk-in and phone/email inquiries coveringour extensive range of equipment lines and outdoor power equipment in general.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer support for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries. Assist customers with parts information and recommendations for Kubota tractors, Avant loaders, Ferris mowers, Torolandscaping equipment,STIHL handhelds, Boss Snow Products, and other equipment.
- Order Coordination: Collaborate with vendors to order and procure parts. Notify customers or technician staff when their ordered parts have arrived.
- Inventory Management: Assist the parts team in maintaining and monitoring inventory levels by documenting, counting, and properly binning received parts, tracking kits that are further broken down, and aiding in parts returns as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate a chainsaw blade sharpening machine, measure and cut rope.
- Technical Skills:Ability to read and interpret parts diagrams. Provide basic mechanical troubleshooting and communicate effectively with the team.
- Order Processing: Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up. Ensure accurate records of all customer transactions, parts issued, and stock levels.
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal and external customers and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate parts supply. Assist management with inventory replenishment and identify opportunities for improvements in processes and training.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized parts department. Perform custodial duties as needed, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, via email, and through text messaging.
- Proficiency in using computers, including Microsoft Office, CDK or other business systems, and web chat applications.
- Experience in retail/parts sales or the outdoor power equipment industry is a plus.
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and the ability to interpret parts diagrams.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and be accountable for assigned responsibilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
