Job Overview:
As an Assistant Line Manager, you will support the production line operations by overseeing various aspects of the manufacturing process. Your role will include leadership and project management tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of production lines. Collaboration with plant management and engineering leadership is essential to address and resolve any operational issues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee overall production line operations
- Inspection of production on daily basis
- Maintain production schedules
- Manage and update production tracking documents
- Organize and conduct the weekly production plan meeting. Conduct daily meetings with production staff to review upcoming production
- Communicate production updates with customer
- Kit each job and utilize the job board for scheduled week production
- Ensure components are available and accurate
- Procurement of materials and components
- Oversee inventory management for raw materials, components, molded components, scrap and finished products
- Manage SAP: BOM, sales order, purchase orders
- Manage goods receipts
- Ensure safety procedures are followed and provide training to new hires/temps
- Prepare and submit weekly production reports to management
Additional Responsibilities:
- Daily use, maintenance and troubleshooting for equipment
- Maintain a safe environment for all users / provide proper safety training for all supervised tasks
- Provide necessary manuals and training documentation, such as: Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Help assist in operator training to company standards
- Aid in developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
