Position Overview and Purpose
The “Program Manager” is responsible for the growth, care, development, and instruction of all assigned individuals living in residential service locations. The Program Manager shall contribute to the creation of a safe, healthy, emotional, and physical environment for all assigned individuals. Further, they will follow all established protocols and interact with each individual in a manner consistent with “Everyday Lives”. This position shall maintain all required documentation ensuring timely submission, conduct staff meetings and training, and monitor day-to-day operations of assigned service locations. The Program Manager shall also ensure continuity of care by providing direct oversight of the staff schedule. The Program Manager shall comply with all agency, county, state, federal, and other governing regulations, policies, and procedures.
Essential Job Functions
- Maintain positive and effective relationships with families, other care providers, ISC;s and any county, state or federal representative along with the overall community
- Serve as WRC’s liaison to SCO’s day programs, support services, medical practitioners, and family members.
- Understanding all rights of an individual, their ability to exercise these rights, negotiation of choices and reporting all instances of violations of these rights, implementing changes as directed.
- Implements and monitors all changes and updates including but not limited to: individual support plans, assessments, goals, outcomes, restrictive procedures, SEE plans, Fade plans, transition plans and behavioral support plans as directed.
- Review all individual records, emergency binders, shift progress notes, communication documentation, petty cash ledgers, inventory lists, medication documentation and any other form specific to assigned individuals or sites on a weekly basis, ensuring all are kept current, accurate, submitting and reporting as directed.
- Ensure all assigned residential service locations are safe, clean, and compliant with all agency, county, state, federal and other governing regulations on a weekly basis, following work order policies and procedures for reporting and implementing changes as directed.
- Implement and monitor all agency vehicle policies and procedures as directed.
- Implement and monitor all medication policies and procedures including but not limited to medication delivery, medication storage, medication administration, medication disposal, and medication errors, reporting as directed.
- Responsible for all assigned individual medical appointments, ensuring all appointment policies and protocols are followed, required documentation is filled out completely and submitted within required timeframes, arranging transportation, coordinating with day programs and employers, and reporting missed/refused appointments as directed.
- Implement and monitor all changes after medical appointments as directed.
- Understand and follow incident management and unusual incident reporting policies and procedures, ensuring staff are aware of the process and reporting timeframes as mandated reporters, implementing change as directed.
- Implement and monitor all emergency policies and procedures including but not limited to first aid kits, evacuation procedures, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire drills, and smoking safety including conducting drills, informing staff of updates and reporting as directed.
- Implement and monitor plans for person-centered practices, community integration, individual choice, supporting individuals to develop and maintain relationships, crisis intervention, positive approaches, hygiene, activities of daily living, goal achievement, and visitation, reporting as directed.
- Implement and monitor all policies and procedures on food and supplies in assigned residential sites, including food packaging and storage.
- Implement and monitor all policies and procedures for individual funds and property, individual spending checks, and petty cash.
- Conduct staff meetings and training on all matters pertaining to individuals, providing updates as directed.
- Prepare weekly schedule, fill open shifts, and call-offs for staff in all assigned residential service locations, performing on-call functions and providing direct care as directed.
- Monitor and track staff performance throughout the year, conducting annual evaluations of staff performance as directed.
- Ensure that all assigned checklists and tracking forms are accurate and submitted in a timely manner as directed.
- Participate in new hire, monthly, annual, and all other training as required by agency, county, state, federal and all other regulations.
- Ensure adherence to agency, county, state, federal and all other regulations.
- Participate in all committees and meetings as directed.
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,500.00 - $48,500.00 per year
