JOB TITLE: Business Development Specialist

Job Overview
The Business Development Specialist will support the business development department in helping drive new business growth and success. You will identify new opportunities in Dental Practices and present the research. It will also include creating and maintaining positive relations with future sellers.
Essential Functions
This job will be expected to complete the following functions. This is not an all-inclusive list. This job may be assigned other functions or tasks. This is meant to be a general description of the most essential functions only.
- Present, promote and sell business using solid arguments to existing and prospective sellers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relations.
- Network to identify prospective Dental Practices and set meetings to make effective customer relations.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Learn current sales techniques to utilize during meetings.
- Research the quality of Dental Practices to report during presentations.
- Achieve agreed upon metrics and report outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Research competitors, consumer behavior, market trends, and lead acquisition methods.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new practices.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements (Education, Certifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
- Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
