Founded in 1983, we have the best teaching football programs in the nation having graduated over 110,000 athletes, many currently playing at the college level. This will be our 41st successful year of football instruction. Our philosophy is to "let them have fun" while learning a lot of football! Job Summary:
Sports International Football Camps are excited to announce an opportunity for passionate athletic trainers to join our team for an upcoming youth football camp. Our camp aims to provide young athletes with the skills, knowledge, and support necessary to excel both on and off the field. As an athletic trainer, you will play a vital role in ensuring our camp participants' health, safety, and well-being. This is a job you will never forget! Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care and support to camp participants.
- Help with the prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of injuries.
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed.
- Aid in the implementation of injury prevention strategies and protocols.
- Assist with taping, bracing, and other preventive measures.
- Communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and camp staff regarding athlete health and safety.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all camp policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with other camp-related duties as assigned
Experience:
- Certification in Athletic Training
- Previous experience in personal training or related field
- Strong knowledge of personal training techniques, physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and health coaching
- Ability to effectively communicate with campers, coaches, and parents
