Qualifications:
- Conducting measurement inspections using calipers and various tools, not limited to visual inspection.
- Management of inspection procedures for ensuring top-notch product quality, maximizing output, minimizing waste, and enhancing efficiencies.
- Specimen preparation, dimensional and physical property inspection/testing as per SOPs, Work Instructions, and Test Procedures.
- Basic electrical testing
- Ongoing inspection of WIP (Work in Progress)
- Incoming inspection of vendor-supplied manufactured sub-assemblies.
- Final inspection of manufactured assemblies before end-user shipment.
- Creation, completion, and maintenance of written records, record files, and computer databases.
- reading and interpreting drawings and inspection standards.
- Communication, maintenance, and monitoring of quality and productivity standards.
- Collaboration with multiple departments to foster a positive, efficient, safe, and high-quality work environment.
- Adherence to SOPs, labels, instructions, specifications, and reference materials.
- identifying critical inspection points and working with tight tolerances and measurement equipment.
- Safety policies.
- Oversight of facility and laboratory test, inspection, and control equipment calibration, including maintenance of calibration records and database files, issuance of calibration recall notifications, and arrangement of subcontracted calibrations.
- Proficiency in computer and data collection hardware and software.
Other duties include:
- High School Diploma
- 2-5 years of prior direct work experience
- MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- ASQC-CQT (Certified Quality Technician) certification is desirable.
