Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. You will play a crucial role in leading and developing a world class Accounting department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the accounting department, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to accounting staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
- CPA designation strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., Sage) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights for decision-making
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
